In Our Own Voices, chamber opera :

libretto : Sarah Carleton
music : Eliane Aberdam.

In Our Own Voices is an hour long opera that explores transracial adoption through the stories of Brooke and Olivia. We begin the story with the words of a social worker who goes back through her own experiences to share how Brooke and Olivia's stories changed her as they searched for their birth families.
